Companies Extend Broadband Communications Infrastructure for Biotech

SAN FRANCISCO, May 24 /PRNewswire/ -- MediaOne (www.mediaoneservices.com), a leading provider of live broadcast and studio production services, today announced a strategic partnership with Zoomedia, Inc. (www.zoomedia.com), a San Francisco-based communications agency, to provide an array of broadband communications services and products for the biotech and life science industries.

The partners offer an end-to-end communications platform for life sciences organizations to reach a mass audience through the Internet and broadcast television. This platform includes web publishing, webcasting, studio and remote video production, and live broadcast over IP, satellite, or fiber. The companies will also develop original content.

MediaOne's media clients include most of the major cable networks, NBC, ABC, FOX, PBS, LinkTV, Bloomberg, and ESPN.

Both companies will be working together to bring more life sciences events to SBC. In addition, MediaOne will be able to extend its offering in web development through the partnership with Zoomedia. MediaOne will use Zoomedia's content management and publishing platform to create web sites for clients outside the life sciences, including entertainment and media companies.
