Friday, May 13th at the Santa Monica Pier

WHO: Herbie, the Love Bug, will embark on a 4-week cross-country
caravan with over 200 fellow Volkswagens along Route 66,
visiting over 60 U.S. cities.

WHAT: The Ceremonial Launch of Herbie and friends will take place at
Santa Monica Pier with over 53 vintage Volkswagens that will
travel along PCH to meet other Volkswagens in Ventura before
they start their journey across the country together in
celebration of Volkswagen's 50th anniversary and the release
of Walt Disney Pictures' HERBIE FULLY LOADED. The caravan,
presented by Airheadparts, will return to VW of Santa Monica
early Sunday morning to begin the journey east. VW
enthusiasts wanting to join in should arrive there by 8 AM.
