Election Challenge Trial Available On Comcast On Demand

Customers can view daily TVW coverage of the trial at their leisure

SEATTLE, May 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Comcast, the nation's leading cable television and broadband services provider, announced today that it will carry the state gubernatorial election challenge on Comcast ON DEMAND, beginning Monday evening.

Comcast will show the election challenge case before Chelan County Superior Court Judge John Bridges in its entirety, utilizing the daily gavel- to-gavel coverage provided by TVW. The election contest, Borders et al v. King County et al, is expected to begin Monday, May, 23rd and could last as long as nine days.

Comcast Digital Cable subscribers can access the trial coverage at no extra charge. The programming will be available to all Comcast Digital Cable customers in Western Washington for at least two weeks following the conclusion of the trial. In addition to Comcast ON DEMAND, streaming media video and audio links of this case will be available at www.tvw.org for the duration of the trial.
