Starz InBlack Will Showcase Eight Feature Films, Documentaries and Concerts

ENGLEWOOD, Colo., May 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Starz Entertainment Group LLC (SEG) announced that Starz InBlack will salute Black Music Month by showcasing eight feature films, documentaries and concerts that will run throughout the month of June. This carefully-selected showcase combines music and movies, while honoring some of the greatest artists in the music industry.

"We have put together a carefully thought out collection of films and documentaries depicting the lives of some of the music industry's greatest artists," said Brett Marottoli, director of program acquisitions for SEG. * "The Last of the Mississippi Jukes": From renowned music filmmaker,
Robert Mugge, comes this tribute to the juke joint and Mississippi,
Saturday, June 18, 12:45 p.m.

* "The Howlin' Wolf Story": This film chronicles the life of one of the
most famous and well-known blues artists, Chester Burnett, a.k.a
Howlin' Wolf, Sunday, June 5, 1:00 p.m.

* "John Lee Hooker -- That's My Story": This documentary guides the
viewer through the life of John Lee Hooker, Friday, June 24, 3:00 p.m.

* "Hail, Hail, Rock 'n' Roll": This concert pays tribute to Chuck
Berry's 60th birthday at the Fox Theater in St. Louis, and discusses
his life and career, Saturday, June 2, 12:10 p.m.

* "Hendrix: Band of Gypsys": This documentary features a concert at the
Fillmore East and interviews with Jimi Hendrix and, for the first
time, all four of his bandmates, Tuesday, June 7, 3:30 p.m.

* "Only the Strong Survive": This documentary delves back into the
golden era of soul music by featuring the Stax dynasty including
