Box Office Tickets Inc. Introduces New Online System for Managing Events

Secure, Easy-To-Use Tools Help Manage, Promote, Transact and Fulfill

PORTLAND, Ore., May 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Box Office Tickets Inc. has announced the launch of an all-new online event management system that makes management, promotion, transactions and fulfillment more effective, easier -- and remarkably affordable.

The launch of the new system -- including a fully redesigned website -- is the culmination of a three-year effort to make the company's Internet is Infrastructure(SM) vision a reality.

"By logging into their boxofficetickets.com account and using a web browser, producers of large to small events can manage every aspect of their programs, from their patron database to ticket printers and handheld scanners. Our goal is to keep it simple, powerful and easy to use," says George Domurot, President & CEO at Box Office Tickets Inc.

The company's breakthrough RoBOT(R) technology transparently and securely handles all communication between the event manager's web browser, the boxofficetickets.com(R) network and other devices connected to the Internet.

A new website provides improved navigation, and a new data center delivers easy-to-use services that make every aspect of managing events -- customized website hosting, list-building, checking on orders, guest management, box office admission control and cash box management -- quicker and easier.

New capabilities and enhancements

New features and services will continue to be rolled out, based primarily on customer feedback. A newly released reporting module, for example, now gives event managers a choice of formats (PDF, Excel, HTML, CSV) to meet their reporting needs. A new Performance Lock feature allows producers to lock access to selected groups of patrons in their database. Support for vCard and vCalendar allows for easy download of contact and calendar information to desktop applications.

"The new system and infrastructure is a significant milestone for our company. We're very excited about the response we're receiving from our customers," says Domurot. "Now that the infrastructure is in place, we will accelerate the rollout of new features and capabilities."
