SupraTV Enables Products for Asian and European Digital Broadcast Markets

SUNNYVALE, Calif., March 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Zoran Corporation (NASDAQ:ZRAN) announced that its SupraTV processor powers Sichuan Changhong Electric's (Changhong) DVB-6300T and DVB-6800T product lines of free-to-air terrestrial set-top boxes shipping to Asian and European markets.

Changhong's Zoran-based terrestrial set-top boxes feature: Digital Video Broadcasting (DVB), Terrestrial, and MPEG2-compliant audio and video decoding; an Electronic Programming Guide (EPG), support for up to 200 channels with channel search options, DVB-subtitles, and OSD Teletext decoding. It also supports composite and RGB outputs, dual SCART, stereo audio, Dolby Digital audio output and infra-red remote. Future versions of these products will support Digital Teletext (MHEG-5) for the U.K. market.
