On VH1 Saturday, March 19 At 9:00 P.M. (ET/PT)*
For 20 years the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has honored musical artists across all genres for their contribution to the music industry. Now fans can watch the historic celebration of Buddy Guy, Percy Sledge, the O'Jays, the Pretenders and U2 as these artists take their place in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
The "2005 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Ceremony" took place at The Waldorf- Astoria Hotel in New York City on March 14, for debut on VH1 Saturday, March 19 at 9:00 p.m. This year's show honored blue's guitarist Buddy Guy, the Golden Voice of Soul, Percy Sledge, the smooth sounds of the O'Jays, modern rock pioneers The Pretenders and the influential Dublin quartet, U2. Frank Barsalona, founder and president of Premier Talent Agency and Seymour Stein, Chairman of Sire Records were also inducted into Lifetime Achievement in the Non-Performer category.
On Friday, March 18
"Remaking Vince Neil"
Throughout this hour-long special Neil will undergo a facelift, work out with a personal trainer and most importantly, kick his drinking habit. Following his physical transformation, Neil will then team up with some of the music industry's top producers to record a new single, "Promise Me," proving that true music legends never die.
