HD Radio Taps Stearn for Director of Marketing and Communications

COLUMBIA, Md., March 14 /PRNewswire/ -- iBiquity Digital Corporation, the sole developer of digital HD Radio(TM), announced today that it has hired Vicki Stearn as Director of Marketing and Communications, based in the company's Columbia, Maryland, headquarters. Stearn had been a communications consultant to HD Radio during the fourth quarter of 2004.

"She brings 25 years of experience in entertainment communications and a breadth of knowledge launching new consumer products and services."

Most recently Stearn was a freelance consultant in the satellite and IT industries. Previously, she was Director of Public Relations at XM Satellite Radio and Vice President of Communications for Your Choice TV at Discovery Communications. While at Discovery, she was a member of the team that launched Discovery Multimedia and Discovery On-line. Early in her career, Stearn was a public relations manager for Showtime Networks and managing editor of Videography, a video trade magazine. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Boston University in Broadcast Journalism.
