2005 Doheny Blues Festival Announced

Eighth Annual Celebration to Feature The Neville Brothers, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Solomon Burke, Blind Boys of Alabama, North Mississippi Allstars and Many Others

DANA POINT, Calif., March 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Omega Events announces the return of the Doheny Blues Festival scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, May 21 & 22, 2005. This event will be held at Doheny State Beach, a 62-acre park located just south of Dana Point Harbor.

WHAT EIGHTH ANNUAL DOHENY BLUES FESTIVAL

WHEN May 21 & 22, 2005. Hours: 11 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. daily.

WHAT ELSE Various attractions will be located throughout the
festival grounds: International Food Court; the Vendor
Village; sponsor displays; and a Fun Zone for kids of all
ages.

BACKPORCH One of the Doheny Blues Festival's most popular
attractions -- The Backporch Stage, is an intimate setting
where fans can experience acoustic sets and storyteller
sessions from many artists.

NON-PROFIT A portion of proceeds will benefit the Surfrider
Foundation, San Clemente Chapter, the beneficiary of DBF
for 8 consecutive years.

TICKET PRICES General admission tickets will be $40 per day, $65 for a
2-day pass, kids (3-12) only $10. VIP & Backstage Passes
are also available.
