SUBWAY(R) Bedrace for Bridging to be Held March 6, 2005

BURNSVILLE, Minn., Feb. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Let the games begin! The Seventh Annual SUBWAY(R) BEDRACE FOR BRIDGING, presented by Cities 97 in partnership with Slumberland Furniture, takes off at Buck Hill Sunday, March 6, 2005, at 10:00 a.m. Teams of four are invited to race down the tubing hill atop queen-sized mattresses (provided).

Advanced registration is $80 per team of four or $100 on race day. Participants are also encouraged to collect pledges. One hundred percent of registration fees and fundraising efforts benefit Bridging, Inc., a non-profit organization that extends community resources by distributing free beds, furniture and household goods to people in transition.

Buck Hill Ski Area is located at 15400 Buck Hill Road, Burnsville, Minnesota.

Participants must be at least 18-years-old. Teams are encouraged to dress creatively and compete in the CITIES 97 Costume Contest.

Prizes will be awarded to top teams in the Subway Bedrace, Cities 97 Costume Contest, and "Bucks for Bridging" fundraising efforts.

Following the race, up-and-coming Cities 97 artists, G.B. Leighton and The Honeydogs, will perform a concert in the Buckstone Lodge. The concert is free and open only to registered Bedracers.
