Nextel Deploys Amdocs CRM to Enhance Experience of Its More Than 15 Million Subscribers

ST. LOUIS, and RESTON, Va., Feb. 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Amdocs (NYSE:DOX), the world's leading provider of billing and CRM software and services for true integrated customer management, and Nextel Communications Inc. (NASDAQ:NXTL), a leading provider of fully integrated wireless communications services, today announced that Nextel has successfully deployed the latest release of Amdocs CRM as part of a strategic initiative to help enhance the customer experience for Nextel's more than 15 million subscribers.

"Our goal is to continue to deliver a superior experience that drives customer growth and loyalty, the highest in the industry, while constantly raising the bar on operational excellence and moving toward an integrated customer management strategy," said Rick Orchard, senior vice president and chief service officer for Nextel. "Amdocs continues to be one of our key technology partners, and its CRM and billing products and services have delivered solid business results."

The Amdocs CRM solution is integrated with the Amdocs Billing product that is already in place at Nextel.
