Salam Technical Services Selects Front Porch Digital to Manage Archives for Qatar Foundation's New Educational Broadcast Channel

BOULDER, Colo., Feb. 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Incentra Solutions, Inc. (BULLETIN BOARD: ICEN) today announced that its Front Porch Digital (FPD) Broadcast & Media Division was selected by Salam Technical Services, a leading system integrator in the Middle East, to manage archives for Qatar Foundation's new educational broadcast channel using FPD's DIVArchive.

Qatar Foundation, a government institution primarily focused on education, will launch the Pan Arabian Youth Channel (PAYC) in the first half of 2005. Targeted at 5- to 15-year olds, this Doha-based satellite TV channel will reach audiences in the Middle East, North Africa and Europe, and will offer a mix of news, soap operas, magazine shows and movies.

Salam Technical Services was selected by the Qatar Foundation as the prime contractor for building this new end-to-end broadcast channel. The solution involves DIVArchive, Front Porch's Distributed Intelligent Video Archive solution, coupled with StorageTek tape library, Leitch video servers, and market-leading non-linear edit systems, and SGT automation.
