QuickPlay Media Mobile Video Download Service available on TELUS Mobility phones

QuickPlay Media's content delivery service used to provide pay per use video downloads

TORONTO, Feb. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- QuickPlay Media, a leading packager and distributor of rich media applications to mobile devices, announced an agreement with national wireless carrier TELUS Mobility that will make QuickPlay Media's video download service available on TELUS Mobility video phones nationwide.

QuickPlay Media delivers video downloads from its partners including CHUM Television, CBC and the Soundtrack Channel in addition to video provided by TELUS Mobility's own partners. The QuickPlay Media platform provides access to the video downloads through an Interactive Programming Guide accessible to TELUS Mobility clients through the browsers on their mobile phones.

Upon purchase, the clip is delivered using TELUS Mobility's Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) and appears in the inbox of the user's phone, where it can be opened and played. The cost of the clip will be added to the client's regular TELUS Mobility invoice or deducted from their prepaid account balance.
