U-Haul Names Chicago Top 2004 Destination

U-Haul has released results of its 2004 National Migration Trend Report titled Top 50 U-S Destination Cities Report. According to moving data reflective of nationwide statistics for calendar year 2004, Chicago takes the number one spot pushing Atlanta out of its four-year pole position, while Orlando, Florida attained the second position. Los Angeles, moved to number three from number ten from last year's ranking. Houston garnered fourth down one spot from last year's ranking and Sacramento, California followed with fifth place. Atlanta, New York, Denver, Las Vegas and Dallas rounded out the top ten.

U.S. Surgeon General Releases Advisory on Alcohol Use in Pregnancy

U-S Surgeon General Richard Carmona is warning warned pregnant women and women who may become pregnant to abstain from alcohol consumption in order to eliminate the chance of giving birth to a baby with any of the harmful effects of the Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders or F-A-S-D. F-A-S-D is the full spectrum of birth defects caused by prenatal alcohol exposure. The spectrum may include mild and subtle changes, such as a slight learning disability and/or physical abnormality, through full-blown Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, which can include severe learning disabilities, growth deficiencies, abnormal facial features, and central nervous system disorders. This updates a 1981 Surgeon General's Advisory that suggested that pregnant women limit the amount of alcohol they drink.
