SAN DIEGO, Feb. 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- In response to the recent tsunami disaster in Southeast Asia, Peregrine Systems, Inc. , a leading provider of enterprise asset and service management solutions, has donated approximately $47,000 to tsunami relief efforts including $15,000 to support UNICEF.

Besides UNICEF, organizations that Peregrine employees have supported through this particular effort include the American Red Cross, Save the Children and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies. Additionally, Peregrine employees regularly participate in food, toy and blood drives, fundraising "walks" for important causes, and such initiatives as sending care packages to soldiers stationed in Iraq.
