Expanded Executive Management Team Prepares to Accelerate Momentum in the Online Digital Photo Market

Dr. Rodney Shaw, a world-renowned expert in imaging science and technology, has been appointed to the position of Vice President Imaging, and Pamela Kelly, an award winning consumer brand marketer, has been appointed to the position of Vice President Marketing. Together with the existing management team, the new executives will spearhead OurPictures' initiative to accelerate the company's momentum in the online digital photo market.

Rodney Shaw, Vice President Imaging

Rodney Shaw is a world-renowned expert in imaging science and technology, with over 30 years of extensive experience in electronic imaging, image processing, digital photography, and printing. He is the author of more than 100 publications in the areas of science, technology, and education, including "Image Science," which has become a standard in the field. During the course of his career, Dr. Shaw held research positions for Xerox, Eastman Kodak, and HP, and played a major role in the advancement of imaging education on two separate continents through the University of Westminster in London, and the Rochester Institute of Technology in New York. Dr. Shaw recently received an honorary membership from The Society for Imaging Science and Technology (IS&T) for his outstanding contributions to the advancement of imaging science or engineering, is the recipient of numerous awards, including the Journal of Imaging Science awards for Science and Engineering, and the Lieven-Gevaert medal. Dr. Shaw has served on a number of industry-leading technical boards and committees and has given more than 50 invited lectures worldwide.

Pamela Kelly, Vice President Marketing

Pamela Kelly has spent most of her career as a consumer brand marketer with an emphasis on entertainment and technology. Kelly has contributed to building several companies and consumer brands from early stages to large and successful enterprises, including New Line Cinema, Sega of America and Mattel Media. In 1995, Pamela co-founded Mattel Media to pioneer the girls' software market, a segment which was previously considered by the industry as a non-viable category. As Vice President of Worldwide Marketing, Pamela launched a global brand, Barbie Media/Software for Girls, and in 1998 launched Barbie Photo Designer Digital Camera & CD-ROM, the top-selling digital camera. After Mattel, Ms. Kelly served as Senior Vice President of Marketing for Internet Shopping Network, as Vice President of Marketing for Geocast, and has acted as a Strategic Marketing Advisor to Vivendi/Universal Interactive and Encore Software. Ms. Kelly is the recipient of Advertising Age's prestigious Marketing 100 Award and was nominated by Intel for a Smithsonian Computer Award for making the computer interesting for girls.
