Nickelodeon Comes to Toy Fair With a Brand-New Line of Playthings for Tween Property, everGirl
NEW YORK, Feb. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Nickelodeon, the number-one entertainment brand for kids, comes to Toy Fair 2005 with a new line of playthings based on Nickelodeon Consumer Products' first lifestyle brand for tweens, everGirl. Products from Playmates, Cardinal and Giddy Up! are aimed at tween girls and help promote positive self-esteem, creative expression and self-discovery.

The property, targeted to girls ages 8-14, integrates a website, pop music and a customized line of apparel and accessories to create a healthy, lifestyle brand that allows tweens to explore who they are and what they want to become. everGirl.com serves as the everGirl property's home base, where girls can find self-discovery activities like writing poetry or music, art projects and diaries.
Tween girls can also take their "everScope," an interactive questionnaire that determines which of the four everGirl personalities match their own. Joy, with her flower symbol, is trendy with aspirations of being a fashion designer. Hope is an ambitious student, whose go-getter personality is symbolized with a butterfly. Skye is a sporty risk-taker identifiable with a lightning bolt. Starr is a dreamer with musical aspirations. An exclusive line of everGirl apparel and accessories is currently sold at Kohl's Department Stores.
The everGirl toy lineup includes:
EVERGIRL BASIC DOLL (PLAYMATES): Twelve dolls to choose from with unique eye color, hair color and ethnicity combinations. Each doll comes with an everGirl t-shirt, denim jeans, fitted jacket, sneakers, book bag and everGirl icon-themed fabric appliques to decorate the outfits and accessories.
