Mpower Adds Telecom Investment Fund Partner to Board of Directors

ROCHESTER, N.Y., Feb. 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Mpower Holding Corporation (AMEX:MPE), the parent company of Mpower Communications Corp., a leading provider of broadband high-speed Internet access and local and long distance voice services, today announced today that Peter Claudy, General Partner with M/C Venture Partners, has joined its board of directors.

Claudy has originated investments in the CLEC, IT managed services, and PCS industries since joining M/C Partners in 1991. He is also the president of, and serves on the board of directors of the New England Venture Capital Association. Additionally, Claudy holds board positions with Atlantis, Florida Digital Network and MCCC ICG Holdings.
