While commentating on the red carpet for E! Entertainment Television, Star Jones wore the LANA MARKS Cleopatra Clutch to match her dazzling champagne dress. Named after the Queen of the Nile, the Cleopatra Clutch is a hallmark of glamour and fashion forwardness. Constructed of silver alligator and finished in white diamonds, this handbag also has the distinction of being one of the most expensive handbags in the world; only three have been made, each valued at $100,000.
Patricia Heaton accented her turquoise dress with a silver LANA MARKS Elongated Clutch. The V-fronted, elongated silhouette of this handbag provided a sophisticated, couture touch to Heaton's dress. While Jones interviewed Heaton, they exchanged notes on their LANA MARKS creations.
Also wearing a LANA MARKS creation was actress Kate Winslet, nominated for both a SAG Award and an Academy Award for her work in "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind." Winslet accented her Badgley Mishka dress with a matte silver envelope clutch. A nominee for the Best Actress Award, Winslet wore a signature Cleopatra Clutch in chocolate brown alligator at the Oscar Awards Luncheon on February 7.
"It certainly has been an honor dressing the creme de la creme of film, television, and fashion commentary, all for one awards show!" said Lana J. Marks.
