David C. McCourt Resigns From Level 3 Board of Directors

BROOMFIELD, Colo., Feb. 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Level 3 Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ:LVLT) today announced that David C. McCourt has resigned as a member of the Board of Directors. Mr. McCourt has stated that he plans to pursue other business opportunities in the communications industry, and felt it was appropriate to resign at this time. Mr. McCourt has been a member of the Level 3 Board since 1998.
