Compuware Named to 'Top 30 Companies for Executive Women' List for Third Consecutive Year

Compuware Remains Only Michigan-Based Company and One of Four High Tech Companies on List

DETROIT, Feb. 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Compuware Corporation (NASDAQ:CPWR) today announced that it has again been named to the "Top 30 Companies for Executive Women" list sponsored by the National Association for Female Executives (NAFE). Companies recognized on the list offer exemplary programs preparing women for top positions -- such as succession planning, leadership training and mentoring -- and also demonstrate a commitment to work/life flexibility.

In selecting the 2005 Top 30 companies, NAFE measured -- for the first time -- the percentage of women occupying positions with "profit-and-loss" responsibility, from mid-management to the C-suite. Compuware has substantial numbers of women in key operational positions, including its Chief Operating Officer, as well as a number of Senior Vice Presidents and Vice Presidents. In addition, Compuware's Chief Financial Officer and three board members are women, clearly demonstrating Compuware's commitment to gender diversity and leading by example.
