Coffee Bean Apparel Selects New Generation Computing's e-PDM to Help Increase Speed to Market

MIAMI, Feb. 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- New Generation Computing Inc. (NGC), a wholly-owned subsidiary of American Software Inc. (NASDAQ:AMSWA), today announced that Coffee Bean Apparel has selected NGC's e-PDM, Internet Product Development Manager, to help increase the speed to market of its childrenswear.

Coffee Bean installed the software at its Miami, Fla., headquarters in December 2005 and will go live before the end of the first quarter of 2005. e-PDM will help Coffee Bean to collaboratively develop products quicker and efficiently. e-PDM expands upon traditional product data management software and brings design, merchandising, product development, sourcing and manufacturing professionals the advanced tools needed to better manage the entire apparel product lifecycle.
