Californian City Tops America's 'Ahh-Choo! Index' for Cold & Flu
John C. McGinley, Star of TV's 'Scrubs,' to Dispense Health Tips and Humor to
Cold & Flu Sufferers
WHAT: The "Ahh-Choo! Index" is a list of American cities that
reported the most cases of respiratory illness during the peak
week of last year's cold and flu season according to
statistics, including Center for Disease Control data, compiled
by Surveillance Data Inc. But which city in Southern
California topped the year's national "Ahh-Choo! Index"? And
what other cities made the Top 20 list?
WHO: Actor John C. McGinley, who plays Dr. Perry Cox on the TV
hit-comedy "Scrubs."
WHY: In order to aid Americans in their fight against colds and flu,
McGinley will dispense some "doctor-ly" advice and a few laughs
while announcing the nation's #1 city for occurrences of colds
and flu. McGinley will be administering "shots" of orange
juice, as well as prescribing ways to protect against colds and
flu.
