5 MILE Band Wins MTM 'Rising Star' Award

WEBSTER, Texas, Feb. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Austin-based 5 MILE Band has received the coveted "Rising Star Award" for its CD "Keep On Ridin'" at the annual MyTexasMusic awards show.

The award is given for the group who "shows remarkable promise for future endeavors," according to MyTexasMusic.com, which sponsors the awards program.
