Weld County, Colorado Selects Accela Automation as Its New Enterprise E-Government Solution

DUBLIN, Calif., Jan. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Accela, Inc., the leading provider of government enterprise management software solutions, announced today that Weld County, Colorado has selected Accela Automation(TM) to be implemented as the County's new enterprise land management system. Employees in the Planning and Zoning, Building Inspection, Public Works, and Health and Environment Departments will be utilizing the new system to automate permitting, inspections, workflow, project management, plan review, code enforcement, and other critical functions.

For the last few years, Weld County has been using an Accela solution, 'PERMITS' Plus(R), for its permitting activities. By upgrading to Accela Automation, the County will be able to take advantage of a Web-based, enterprise solution that is flexible enough to meet the needs of multiple departments and can expand with the demand for better and more cost-effective government services.
