WASHINGTON, Jan. 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Washington Post Company (NYSE:WPO) announced today that it has completed the acquisition of Slate, the online magazine, from Microsoft Corp. The transaction was first announced on December 21, 2004. The purchase price was not disclosed.
