Siemens Business Services Signs Deal to Offer VeriSign Intelligence and Control(SM) Services to Turkish Enterprises
Affiliate Agreement Enables SBS to Become First Reseller of VeriSign Services in Turkey
ISTANBUL, Turkey and MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Jan. 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- VeriSign, Inc. (NASDAQ:VRSN), the leading provider of intelligent infrastructure services for the Internet and telecommunications networks, and Siemens Business Services (SBS) Turkey, today announced they have signed an affiliate agreement that will enable SBS to provide VeriSign Intelligence and Control(SM) Services to enterprises in Turkey. Under terms of the agreement, SBS will become VeriSign's first authorized dealer in that nation.
Through this partnership, SBS will now be able to provide industry-leading security services to Turkish enterprises, which help ensure the accuracy and legitimacy of information transmitted via the Internet. SBS will also offer VeriSign's best of breed services and solutions for enterprises to employ digital certificates and digital signatures.
The deal enables Siemens Business Services to become part of VeriSign's Trust Network (VTN). The VTN consists of Global PKI Affiliates that provide Managed Public Key Infrastructure (MPKI) services for individuals, small and medium businesses, and large enterprises worldwide. These trusted partners offer the advantages of local presence, local language, and products and services tailored to local markets.
