RedEnvelope Announces New Vice President of Marketing

SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- RedEnvelope, Inc. (NASDAQ:REDE), a premier multi-channel specialty gift retailer, announced today that Gary Korotzer has been named Vice President of Marketing for the company, directing all of the company's marketing efforts, which include online and offline channels, as well as managing corporate sales.

Mr. Korotzer comes to RedEnvelope from Charles Schwab and Company where he most recently served as Senior Vice President, Mass Affluent Marketing, and was responsible for customer acquisition, cross-sell and retention, loyalty program development, new product development, direct marketing and online marketing. Before joining Schwab in 1997, Mr. Korotzer held executive and strategic marketing positions at American Express and Qwest Communications, among other companies. He brings over 15 years of marketing experience in the financial and telecommunications industries.
