NeoSynergy Adds Five Key Third-Party Services to Evolutionary Web-Based Dealer Technology Platform

RouteOne, Payroll Online, 700 Credit, Motor Labor Time Guides and MotorAlley.com partner with software developer

NEW ORLEANS, Jan. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Aggressively positioning itself to revolutionize automotive dealership operations in the 21st Century, NeoSynergy today announced partnerships with RouteOne, Payroll Online, 700 Credit, Motor Labor Time Guides and MotorAlley.com. Their advanced generation services and data provide enhanced functionality to NeoSynergy's much-anticipated 100 percent Web-based Darwin enterprise technology platform.

The next evolutionary step in retail operations and sales systems, NeoSynergy's Darwin XE dealership management system and accompanying Darwin Exchange eCommerce functionality fully integrate and optimize dealer inventory, sales, finance, parts and service operations.

NeoSynergy is showcasing its Darwin platform here at the 2005 National Automobile Dealers Association convention and exposition (Booth No. 101). Successful commercial installations of the technology platform already have been completed at dealerships in California, Texas and Michigan, with many others scheduled in the coming months.

RouteOne is the Web-based electronic credit application management system formed by DaimlerChrysler Services, Ford Motor Credit Company, General Motors Acceptance Corporation and Toyota Financial Services. RouteOne services include contract approval, submission and settlement. These services can be accessed on-demand from within Darwin XE.

"NeoSynergy will help RouteOne enable credit transactions over the Internet in a secure and expeditious manner," said Mike Jurecki, RouteOne CEO. "We're pleased to add them to our growing partner roster."

Payroll Online provides dealers with technology-enabled outsourcing services for payroll, benefits, human resources, time and attendance data processing. Payroll Online operates in a fully integrated manner with the NeoSynergy Darwin XE software, bringing enterprise class payroll and human resources to the dealership operation.

"Payroll Online and NeoSynergy share a common vision for the seamless delivery of Web services to improve employer and employee benefits," said Mike Miller, Payroll Online president. "It's NeoSynergy's ESB architecture that allows a virtual plug-and-play environment. This allows any Web services application the ability to easily connect with a businesses core system. Today, major corporations are scrambling to deploy ESB technology across their Web-based enterprises. Corporations with vision, like NeoSynergy, will reap the benefits via a faster and more cost effective time-to-market development and deployment model, which is to the ultimate benefit of their clients and partners."

700 Credit specializes in providing credit products from Experian, TransUnion and Equifax, and delivering services to help dealers using Darwin XE and Darwin Exchange streamline the credit authorization process.

Motor Labor Time Guides are delivered within the Darwin XE application so standard customer paid times and OEM parts are available on-demand, in support of the service repair order write-up and parts-ordering processes.

MotorAlley.com is a consumer traffic and content provider attracting Internet consumers seeking to buy vehicles online.

"Like NeoSynergy, we believe that consumers will buy cars online directly from Web-based dealers," said David Wassmann, MotorAlley.com president. "Leads are great business. We think helping the dealer actually sell the car is an even better business. The key enablers are simple, intuitive bid tools and an agile dealer business system like Darwin XE. We're thrilled to work with NeoSynergy and their dealer partners to make true automotive eCommerce a reality."

NeoSynergy also is showcasing its new and exclusive Darwin ESB (Enterprise Service Bus) application at the NADA event. This technology seamlessly integrates critical third-party services into the Darwin enterprise technology platform. The same technology is available for automobile manufacturers to leverage the STAR standards for up-to-date communication and integration with their entire dealer distribution network at a low cost and speed to business results.

"Our vision for the Darwin XE enterprise application was to leverage the best-in-breed technologies of such well known and respected companies as RouteOne, Payroll Online, 700 Credit, Motor Labor Time Guides and MotorAlley.com. Unlike many other companies in this market, NeoSynergy has a truly open systems philosophy," said Charles Shamblee III, NeoSynergy founder and CEO. "What's even more compelling is that we are providing these services at no extra cost to our customers. Why should dealers have to pay extra for these integration services? With current technology, it is not that difficult or expensive to do."

The Darwin platform provides seamless, real-time communication between OEMs, dealerships, consumers and third-party service providers. No other vendor in the industry offers this capability. Darwin XE and Darwin Exchange link all dealership operations and departments through a single technology platform. Current state for most dealerships is to have multiple software systems from multiple vendors with little or no integration. NeoSynergy's seamless approach is enabled by the Darwin ESB application.

Darwin XE and Darwin Exchange also enable dealers to better facilitate online sales of vehicles, parts and service -- leveraging the public's increasing comfort with eCommerce. Logging on to a dealership's Web site, a consumer can buy a vehicle, schedule a service appointment, arrange pick-up or a loaner vehicle, provide authorization for additional work, check the status of a repair, pay electronically for a completed repair and order parts, among other services.

Dealership personnel can access the Web-based platform virtually anywhere via the Internet through wireless connections, unleashing them from the confines of the physical building and enabling them to visit customer homes, work places and other locations to meet with customers and coordinate sales.

In addition to unmatched functionality, the NeoSynergy products save automobile dealerships thousands of dollars in initial system installation and upgrade costs. The technology platform is 100 percent Web-based, so all server equipment is located in a secure offsite facility and system upgrades occur in real-time from this remote data center rather than at the dealership. In addition, dealerships are not forced to sign long-term contracts and, on average, a dealer can save as much as 40 percent on monthly subscription fees versus other dealership management systems.

NeoSynergy is a provider of connectivity, dealership management, and eCommerce software to the automotive industry. NeoSynergy's Darwin connection provides seamless, end-to-end data management for the entire vehicle sales process from manufacturers to dealers to consumers. Created to be inclusive in design but modular in deployment, NeoSynergy's Darwin products allow manufacturers and dealers of all sizes to improve operational efficiency and coordinate the supply line across multiple locations and systems.
