Elizabeth Spiers is mediabistro's editor-in-chief. She was formerly a contributing writer and editor at New York magazine and was the founding editor of Gawker.com, a Manhattan gossip blog.

fishbowlDC.com will cover the publications, TV shows and radio programs that keep the Beltway chattering classes talking, as well as the political PR industry and other indigenous D.C. media subcultures. fishbowlDC is written by Garrett Graff, who is the vice president of communications at EchoDitto, Inc., a Washington, D.C.-based technology consulting firm and former deputy national press secretary for Howard Dean.

fishbowlLA.com will provide commentary on the sociology of LA media culture, and the people and companies that shape it, and the intersection between media and entertainment. fishbowlLA is written by Michael Sonnenschein, an L.A.-based TV writer and contributor to LA Innuendo.
