Lingerie Bowl 2005 Set to Blow Away the Super Bowl XXXIX Conservative Halftime Show

Pay-Per-View Broadcast Announces 2005 Sponsors, Team Line-Ups, Hosts and Musical Performer

HOLLYWOOD, Calif., Jan. 31 /PRNewswire/ -- Horizon Productions, Inc. unveiled this year's Lingerie Bowl (www.LingerieBowl.com) sponsors, competing teams, hosts and musical performer today to worldwide press at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. "We are incredibly excited about every element of this year's broadcast and the international appeal surrounding our brand. The Lingerie Bowl has truly established itself as a Staple of Super Bowl Sunday festivities and American POP culture," said Creator & Executive Producer Mitch Mortaza. Mortaza added, "We expect a tremendous year with all the worldwide media attention surrounding Janet Jackson's 'Wardrobe Malfunction' which ultimately has forced the NFL to produce a very conservative halftime show thus driving more viewers to our broadcast." Last year many media outlets and industry insiders reported that 'Nipplegate' was a direct attempt on the part of the NFL, CBS and MTV to compete with the buzz surrounding the Lingerie Bowl. Furthermore, experts indicate that by the NFL using their 'Silver Bullet' with the Janet Jackson incident which caused a major backlash, the Lingerie Bowl will ultimately benefit due to the pressure placed upon the NFL by advertisers, conservative organizations and FCC to produce conservative and predictable halftime shows.

This year's Pay-Per-View halftime alternative broadcast promises a 2 hour sports and entertainment extravaganza, featuring model athletes from all four Lingerie Football League teams (without their shoulder pads and helmets, JUST LINGERIE), celebrities and a steamy lingerie fashion show featuring supermodels accompanied by a performance from Capitol Record's multi-platinum selling artist Chingy. Fox football analyst Mike Goldberg, model/actress' Tamie Sheffield and Real World/Surreal Life's Trishelle Cannatella will host the much talked about "Catfight." The Pay-Per-View will air Sunday, February 6th from 7-9 PM EST for only $14.95. Sponsors for the broadcast include Dimension Films, Vivendi Universal Games, Monster Energy Drink and Ambroso Tequilla.

Horizon Productions will donate a portion of the Pay-Per-View proceeds to Family Care Organization's Tsunami Relief Efforts in Southeast Asia as well as direct Lingerie Bowl viewers to take action by making a donation. Horizon will make an additional donation to AIDS Research Alliance or America.
