Large Group Practice Signs to Reap Significant Benefits

BOSTON, Jan. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Point-of-care technology solutions provider MedAptus, Inc. today announced the creation of a new partnership with Physician Strategies, LLC, a physician-owned medical service organization based in nearby Pembroke, Massachusetts. Through the partnership, MedAptus' revenue-enhancing Charges In Hand(TM) application will be deployed to Physician Strategies' customers as part of its technology and service offerings aimed at simultaneously improving patient care and practice income potential.

In addition to forming a promising partnership, MedAptus and Physician Strategies have also identified and engaged Healthcare South, PC, a large, multi-site physician group, as the first joint-customer to implement Charges In Hand. Healthcare South has more than 40 physicians practicing in over ten locations across the Massachusetts South Shore, including South Shore Hospital. The documentation and submission of professional charges from the point-of-care to the group's ENTITY(R) billing system will expedite the practice's billing and reimbursement process tremendously.
