Club Cambria is a members only, upscale lounge located on the private suite level of the arena, and is the first stadium suite concept of its kind in the country. This innovative concept combined eight existing suites at the Target Center, home of the NBA's Timberwolves, into one luxury suite complete with lavish stadium style seating. Club Cambria was built with more 1,000 individually fabricated, custom designed pieces of Cambria natural quartz surfaces. The precision and expertise to build such a venue was a fantastic feat. "It was like putting together a giant jigsaw puzzle of perfectly cut pieces with no room for error, and the end result is really quite spectacular," said Ian Thorburn, director of brand management at Cambria.
Club Cambria, designed by Shawn Trentlage of the architectural firm Trellage-Ferrill, features five Cambria colors, including two custom colors created specifically for Club Cambria. "Our design and vision for Club Cambria was to reflect the luxury and sophistication found in many of the more upscale clubs and restaurants," said Trentlage. "Cambria was selected because of its spectacular beauty and design flexibility. We are able to do things with Cambria that we can't do with other stone products."
"The Timberwolves approached us with this partnership idea because they wanted to create an entertainment venue that was unmatched in sophistication and style," added Thorburn. "We welcomed the opportunity to bring that idea to life and to showcase our product at an exceptional destination venue for sports and entertainment. The concept also provided our company with a unique way to showcase the beauty and versatility of our product."
A Club Cambria membership includes a seat for all Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx home games, dinner at the game, an exclusive concierge service, and access to tickets for select Target Center events.
Cambria is non-porous, making it completely resistant to staining, and it's certified by the National Sanitation Foundation International for use in commercial kitchens. There is no safer surface for food preparation.
Founded in 2001, Cambria is the only producer of natural quartz surfaces in the United States. Cambria is a privately held, family owned company with over 400 employees. Headquartered in Le Sueur, Minn., the 150,000 square foot production plant produces 225 tons of quartz surfaces per day, and is one of the few quartz surface plants in the world. Cambria-owned fabrication facilities are located in Minneapolis, Chicago, Indianapolis and Atlanta. In addition, Cambria has a nationwide network of fabricator partners that share Cambria's commitment to quality and craftsmanship.
