2005 Hall of Fame Inductees to be Named in Exclusive Live Video Webcast on MLB.com

NEW YORK, Jan. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- MLB Advanced Media, L.P. (MLBAM), the interactive media and Internet company of Major League Baseball, announced today that the Baseball Writers' Association of America 2005 Hall of Fame class will be revealed in a live video webcast beginning at 1:00 p.m. ET tomorrow, Tuesday, January 4, on MLB.com, the official league website. The 2005 inductees will be announced at 2 p.m.

Baseball fans around the world with broadband connections can watch as Hall of Fame President Dale Petroskey makes the announcement, part of a free 2 hour live video show on MLB.com's Interactive Baseball Network that will include interviews with new inductees. The same live programming will be simulcast on MLB.com Radio.

Former Major Leaguer Billy Sample and Seth Everett will be the co-hosts of the MLB.com announcement broadcast.
