Vocus Announces Record Revenue for Q3 2004
Record Number of New Customers Drives 21st Consecutive Quarter of Growth
LANHAM, Md., Dec. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Vocus, Inc., the global leader in on- demand software for public relations and government relations, today announced financial results for its fiscal third quarter ended September 30, 2004. The privately held company reported continued growth in revenue, citing 40 percent growth in revenue over the same quarter last year. The third quarter marked the 21st consecutive quarter of revenue growth for Vocus.
The company added 91 new customers during the quarter, a 122% increase in the number of new customers added during the same quarter last year. The company also renewed and expanded one-year or multi-year subscriptions with approximately 256 customers, including BMW, Coca-Cola, ConAgra Foods, Consumers Electronics Association, Environmental Protection Agency, JCPenny, KPMG, Lockheed Martin, National Association of Realtors and S.C. Johnson & Sons.
