EarthSmart Consumer Kim Carlson Picks Best Sites for Planet Friendly Gifts

The sites were chosen based on a number of criteria. Those included the 'look and feel' of each site, adherence to environmentally friendly practices, and convenience for shipping and ordering. Carlson in particular chose sites whose messages were geared towards a mainstream audience. Another major criterion was product price. Products on the sites had to be within 10% of prices for similar, traditional products.
