DUBLIN, Calif., Dec. 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- iAnywhere Solutions, Inc., a subsidiary of Sybase, Inc. (NYSE:SY), today announced that Atea, Eastman Chemical Company (NYSE:EMN), Linde Gas and Rockwool have selected Pylon Anywhere(TM) to enable wireless access to email and personal information management (PIM) data-anywhere, anytime. Pylon Anywhere accelerates communication, decision-making and customer responsiveness by keeping workers in touch, whether they're on the road or simply away from their desks. iAnywhere today also unveiled the next generation of Pylon Anywhere, delivering extensive globalization enhancements including Unicode support and non-English clients, clustering improvements, expanded groupware integration, the extension of push capabilities and broader mobile device support.

Mobile email is rapidly becoming ubiquitous, with 50% of enterprises estimated to enable wireless email within two to three years and 75% within three to four years(1). As testament to the growing momentum, iAnywhere has seen steady demand for its award winning line of Pylon products, adopted by more than 2,500 corporations in 50 countries.
