Ensequence(TM), the leading provider of interactive TV (iTV) authoring
software, today announced that it has teamed up with iTV advertising services
company Press Red to build interactive advertisements (i-Ads) for some of the
UK's largest brands.
Press Red will use the Ensequence on-Q(TM) Create v3.0 iTV authoring
suite to produce sophisticated dedicated advertiser location (DAL) i-Ads,
which allow advertisers to deliver exciting, interactive brand experiences
with rich graphics, dedicated video and audio. DALs offer viewers a wide
range of product information and associated lifestyle experiences, allowing
brands to establish a direct and measurable interaction with consumers most
likely to buy products.
Press Red has enabled over 100 of the UK's top advertisers to broadcast
more than 150 campaigns during the last 12 months. i-Ads developed with on-Q
Create will begin to air in early 2005.

The on-Q Create suite provides an intuitive software production
environment for creating i-Ads, testing concepts and preparing them for
broadcast. The software includes templates for common interactive behaviours,
as well as built-in commands for most production requirements. The on-Q
Create suite will allow Press Red to use simple drag and drop functions to
synchronize interactive components to live video feeds, manage content,
simulate and test interactive behaviours.
The software also includes the TVScript(TM) scripting language that can
be accessed by developers wishing to work directly with the underlying code
on complex applications. The scripting language provides the flexibility for
technical team members to work hand-in-hand with creatives throughout
production phases to bring interactivity from concept to air rapidly and at
low cost.
