Multimedia expert, Dagmar Mackett, has been named the new head of
Multimedia Operations for PR Newswire's European business, Lisa Ashworth, PR
Newswire Europe's commercial director, announced today.

With a background in broadcast journalism, Mackett will be responsible
for managing the fast-growing audiovisual broadcasting as well as streaming
media business unit at PR Newswire Europe based in London, UK. She will
report directly to Ashworth.

relations, Mackett, who is German-born, has held positions including

at Medialink International.



As a special projects manager for Medialink International, Dagmar was
responsible for a number of international clients including the European
Space Agency and DaimlerChrysler. At Weber Shandwick, she managed
international clients such as Intel and Kodak, and was also involved in the
successful global launch campaign for Coca-Cola's Powerade sports drink, for
which her broadcast team advised on and produced all the audiovisual content.
