Mobility Electronics Receives Approval to Begin Production on New Dell-Only DC Power Adapter for Targus

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Dec. 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Mobility Electronics, Inc. (NASDAQ:MOBE), a leading provider of innovative portable power and computing solutions for the mobile electronic device user, announced today it has received approval from its strategic partner, Targus Group International, to design and produce a new customized DC power adapter for Dell portable computers. The new power adapter, which will carry the Targus brand name, will be sold through the Dell third-party program.

Mobility and Targus expect shipment of the new DC power adapters to Dell to commence during the first quarter of 2005.
