Kathy Mattea to Perform Two Concerts at Wheeling Jesuit University as Part of Campus' 50th Anniversary Celebration

WHEELING, W.Va., Dec. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Country music star Kathy Mattea will perform two concerts in Wheeling Jesuit University's Troy Theater, Saturday, January 22 and Sunday, January 23. Both shows will begin at 8 p.m. Troy Theater's intimate setting and cozy, friendly atmosphere will provide the perfect venue for the two-time Grammy and multiple CMA and ACM award winner.

"We are very excited to have Kathy perform two concerts on the campus. The themes of life's victories, large and small, and the spiritual struggles they portray, are the threads that run through Kathy's music," says Steven Infanti, Vice President for University Relations at Wheeling Jesuit.

The concerts are part of the University's series of events in celebration of the 50th Anniversary of its incorporation. Infanti notes that Kathy Mattea and Wheeling Jesuit University President Rev. Joseph R. Hacala, S.J. are from Charleston, West Virginia.
