Eli Device Aims to Fill Crucial Home Broadband Security Void

Combining a comprehensive managed services package with a breadth of security features previously associated only with large businesses, Eli is the first broadband appliance specifically designed to protect against a broad array of Internet security threats at an economical price point.

The home computer, combined with a persistent broadband Internet connection, offers fertile ground to a near epidemic number of worms, viruses, Trojan horses and malicious hackers. The Eli product was introduced at the Infosecurity 2004 Conference in New York City today.
