Terayon Appoints Mark A. Richman as Chief Financial Officer
SANTA CLARA, Calif., Nov. 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Terayon Communication Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:TERN), a leading provider of digital video and home access solutions, today announced the appointment of Mark A. Richman, 44, as senior vice president, finance and administration and chief financial officer (CFO), effective immediately.
Richman brings over 20 years of financial management experience to Terayon. Most recently Richman served as executive vice president and CFO at Covad Communications Group, a provider of broadband voice and data communications, where he was part of the executive team brought in to lead the development and execution of the company's strategic vision post- restructuring. Richman joined Covad in 2001 from MainStreet Networks, where he was vice president and CFO. Prior to MainStreet, Richman served as vice president, finance and administration at Adecco U.S., a $3 billion operating subsidiary of Adecco S.A., and as vice president and global treasurer at Adecco S.A., where he raised over $3 billion in funding through various debt and equity transactions. Previously Richman also held several financial management positions at Merisel, Inc., and various banking positions with ING Capital, Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company, and Wells Fargo Bank.
