Public Service Announcement: Free Concert in New York City
The Islands of the Bahamas Jingles Their Way to New York this Holiday Season
NEW YORK, Nov. 29 /PRNewswire/ --
WHO: The Islands Of The Bahamas will bring some warmth to New York City
this holiday season with a special musical experience for New York
City metro residents.
The first annual Bahamian Christmas in New York concert (free to
the general public) will include Bahamian Christmas carols with
renditions of traditional classics performed by world-renowned
operatic baritone Cleveland Williams and composer/bass Franz
Hepburn. Also performing is Bahamian diva Valerie Pyfrom in
addition to the dynamic pianist and soprano duo, Lee and Joann
Callender.
WHAT: Following the concert, a Silent Auction will take place to allow
guests to bid on Bahamian-made gift items and exclusive vacation
packages. Proceeds from the Mass offering and Silent Auction will
benefit St. Bartholomew's Church and various charities throughout
The Islands Of The Bahamas.
WHEN: Friday, Dec. 3, 2004 - Beginning at 6:00 p.m.
