Oracle Executives Join Dell, EMC, HP, Intel and Sun in Keynote Series at Upcoming Conference
REDWOOD SHORES, Calif., Nov. 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Oracle today announced the keynote series for Oracle(R) OpenWorld San Francisco, Oracle's global business and technology conference, to be held Dec. 5-9, 2004, at Moscone Center. With keynote presentations from Dell, EMC, HP, Intel and Sun Microsystems, Inc., this year's keynote lineup promises to deliver information regarding adaptive enterprises; information management; harnessing information; business intelligence; and standards-based technology.

Each year, Oracle OpenWorld attendees can learn about the latest trends in technology and business from Oracle's leaders as well as other technology industry luminaries. Keynote presenters include:
-- Michael Dell, chairman of the board, Dell Inc., on Tuesday, Dec. 7, at
8:45 a.m.;
-- Carly Fiorina, chairman and chief executive officer, HP, on Monday,
Dec. 6, at 9:45 a.m.;
-- Scott McNealy, chairman and chief executive officer, Sun Microsystems
Inc., on Wednesday, Dec. 8, at 10:00 a.m.
-- Joe Tucci, president and CEO, EMC Corporation, on Thursday, Dec. 9, at
9:45 a.m.; and
-- Richard Wirt and William A. Swope, co-general managers, Software and
Solutions Group, Intel Corporation, on Tuesday, Dec. 7, at 5:00 p.m.
In addition, some of Oracle's key visionaries, including chief executive officer Larry Ellison, will also deliver keynote addresses. The Oracle Keynote Series will offer insight into the industry's leading information company and the evolving information age. at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 6;
-- Chuck Rozwat, executive vice president of server technologies, will
provide details on the latest advances in grid computing, including
Oracle Database 10g and Oracle Application Server 10g at 9:00 a.m. on
Wednesday, Dec. 8; and
-- Ron Wohl, executive vice president of applications development, will
highlight the latest release of the Oracle E-Business Suite -- 11i.10,
and discuss how Oracle provides open, integrated business processes
with full business intelligence built in for the modern, information-
driven enterprise at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 6.
