SANTA MONICA, Calif., July 21, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The second season of YO-KAI WATCH(TM) from LEVEL-5 abby Inc. will premiere on Disney XDbeginning Monday, August 1 with 10 consecutive new episodes airing weekdays through Friday, August 12 at 12:30 p.m. ET/PT. On August 27, YO-KAI WATCH will move to its regular time slot on Saturday mornings at 8:30 a.m. ET/PT. The second season will include 50 episodes - doubling the 26 episodes of the hit show's premiere season - and introduces more than 90 new Yo-kai to fans!

A plethora of new product is hitting stores now for back-to-school, including backpacks, accessories, apparel, sleepwear, footwear and plush, sold at major retailers including Walmart, Target, Kmart, Toys R Us and Hot Topic. A new YO-KAI WATCH video game for Nintendo 3DS is set to launch on September 30(th), with two distinct versions - YO-KAI WATCH 2: Bony Spirits and YO-KAI WATCH 2: Fleshy Souls, each with an exclusive Yo-kai Medal included to unlock Jibanyan's in-game unique and powerful Soultimate Moves. Hasbro's season two products, including the new Yo-kai Watch Model Zero(TM) featured in season two, and their Yo-Motion(TM) Yo-kai Medals that bring Yo-kai characters to life in a new way, will hit stores on October 1(st).

In the Play Nintendo Family Lounge, located on the first floor of the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina Hotel, Nintendo is featuring their latest and greatest video games, including a new playable mode "Blasters" in YO-KAI WATCH 2, and a live voice-actor reading and panel discussion, to be held on Friday, July 22(nd) from 3-4 p.m. The panel will feature actors Alicyn Packard (Jibanyan), Joey D'Auria (Whisper), and Melissa Hutchison (Komasan). The event is hosted by Brent Pendergrass, who plays the Summoner, Roughraff, Blazion, and many more characters. Select attendees will also have an opportunity to receive an autograph and take photos with the actors.
