MONTRÉAL, July 27, 2016 /CNW Telbec/ - TVA Publications announced today that with nearly 9 million readers across all platforms, it has maintained its status as a leader in the Canadian magazine publishing industry, according to the latest audience measurement snapshop from Vividata. TVA magazines increased their print readership by 2% to nearly 7.9 million.

Major publisher in English Canada
TVA Publications' English-language titles - Canadian Living, Style at Home, The Hockey News and Elle Canada - have a combined cross-platform readership of nearly 6.9 million.
Canadian Living, Canada's food and lifestyle standard-setter for more than 40 years, is the most popular magazine among English-Canadian women with 3.8 million readers and the largest-circulation magazine in Canada at more than 460,000 copies.**
Elle Canada remains the most trusted source for fashionistas with nearly 1.6 million readers across all platforms. It is Canada's best-selling fashion magazine.**
And, The Hockey News maintained its popularity with sports fans, drawing more than 1.9 million readers on all platforms, including nearly 1.5 million men. The print version increased its readership by 5% to more than 1.4 million. The Hockey News is also the most popular sports magazine brand in Canada.
#1 publisher in Quebec
TVA Publications' French-language titles attract a combined total of nearly 2.6 million readers on all platforms. Coup de pouce is Quebec's most popular magazine in print with nearly 1.1 million readers, a 5% increase, and is read by almost 1.3 million people across all platforms.
With 623,000 cross-platform readers, Elle Québec is Quebec's most-read fashion magazine. TVA Publications' French-language fashion magazines - Elle Québec and Clin d'oeil - both increased their readership dramatically, posting 12% increases for their print editions.
While kids are quick to embrace new technology, Cool! Magazine, the favourite of the 12-17 crowd, is read by 260,000 teens per month, a spectacular 14% increase. Cool! Also boasts more than 212,000 Facebook followers. The Cool! Community is active and growing fast.
Among fans of interior design and renovation, Les idées de ma maison remains the runaway leader with 636,000 cross-platform readers. The print version of Chez Soi grew its readership by 8% and is now read by 339,000 home decor buffs.
Among weeklies, TVA Publications' six celebrity news magazines reach nearly 1.2 million readers per week on all platforms. Their print readership jumped 9%. Once again, 7 jours magazine led the pack by a wide margin with 618,000 cross-platform readers and an 11% increase in print readership. The French-language market for entertainment news continued to be robust, with the print editions of Echos Vedettes and Star Système expanding their readership by 35% and 28% respectively.
