Shot Glass Films Creates Branded Content Spot "Invictus" For TITLE Boxing

VICTORIAN POEM & BOXING SERVE AS BACKDROP FOR CONTENT SPOT

LOS ANGELES, July 13, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Shot Glass Films recently completed a branded content piece for TITLE Boxing, a top provider of boxing, MMA and martial arts equipment. Set in a gritty basement in downtown L.A., the spot, directed by Eric Jackson, is about one man's quest to be the best athlete he can be for no one other than himself. Golden Gloves boxer, Toryan Rogers, was cast in the principal role. The spot uses the 19(th) century poem, "Invictus" by William Ernest Henley, as a vehicle to tell the story of the boxer, while also making it suitably branded with the TITLE Boxing brand.

Amateur fighter and Flint, Michigan native, Toryan Rogers, does a noteworthy job in bringing the poem to life. "Boxing got me out of trouble and kept me off the streets. It changed my life and gave me a purpose to do something with myself when I had no hope," said the boxer turned actor. No stranger to the fight game, the ex-pugilist competed in 60 amateur fights and won both Houston's Regional Golden Gloves and the Houston Nationals.
