This year, in collaboration with the Scott Brothers for Producers Ball, the IT Lounge will retire the dated gifting suite concept with a transformation into a landmark destination called the IT House - a full 2-story, 7000 square foot lounge space in the heart of the festival activities that will lend itself to celebrity, media and consumer experiences.

As the first philanthropic suite in North America, the IT House will once again integrate cause through Artists for Peace and Justice (APJ), an organization founded by Academy Award-winning director Paul Haggis, that supports communities in Haiti through education. With the vision that education has the power to change a nation, APJ built the first free public high school in Port-au-Prince, which celebrated the inaugural graduating class in spring 2016. Natasha Koifman (Canada Board Chair) and Drew and Jonathan Scott have been strong annual supporters of the organization that has raised over $20 million since it was founded during film festival in 2009.

"The festival brings an unparalleled energy, buzz and sense of cultural pride to the city of Toronto for visitors and residents alike," says Natasha Koifman, President, NKPR. "For over a decade, we have been passionate about creating meaningful moments and experiences for celebrities and influencers in the IT Lounge. This year we are so excited to work with Drew and Jonathan Scott, such incredible international ambassadors for Toronto and the festival, to collaborate on an experiential hub, the IT House x Producers Ball."

NKPR's IT Lounge has been an integral part of Toronto's film festival culture since 2006 serving as a sanctuary for media, talent and VIPs to looking to recharge and relax during the hustle of the film festival. Past IT Lounge visitors have included Mila Kunis, Colin Firth, Robert Pattinson, Julianne Moore, Natalie Portman, Elizabeth Olsen, Jared Leto, Adrien Brody, Daniel Radcliffe and many more.

"Jonathan and I always look for unique ways to give Producers Ball guests an unforgettable evening," says Drew Scott, Television Personality and Co-Founder of Production Company, Scott Brothers Entertainment. "With the IT Lounge's success over the past decade in creating meaningful impressions, working with Natasha Koifman at NKPR to host IT House x Producers Ball was such a natural fit. We're excited for the lasting positive impact this collaborative partnership will have on festival culture."

With a celebrity portrait studio at its hub, NKPR's IT Lounge has repeatedly partnered with reputable photographers (such as Patrick Demarchelier, Caitlin Cronenberg) and high-profile media partners (such as W Magazine) to become one of the festival's most sought-out destinations for visiting celebrities and media.

The 2016 IT House x Producers Ball will feature a celebrity portrait studio, private space for media interviews and sponsored programming and activations.
