'Social Network' Producer to Address 2016 Entertainment Industry Conference

Experts Will Discuss Celebrity Branding, Philanthropy, Filming in China

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., June 6, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Dana Brunetti, producer of "The Social Network" and "Fifty Shades of Grey," will discuss his motion picture production style during the June 15 Entertainment Industry Conference at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel.

Produced by the CalCPA Education Foundation, the annual conference attracts an audience of CPAs, attorneys and advisers who serve the entertainment industry. This year's conference will feature sessions on business management best practices, virtual reality, managing art collections, celebrity branding, philanthropy, international and domestic tax issues, and industry globalization.

Brunetti, who is appearing courtesy of the MPTF (Motion Picture & Television Fund), will be featured in conversation with Joe Sutton, host of MPTF"s Channel 22 on campus television station, during the conference's luncheon.

"Whether producing the Emmy Award-winning show 'House of Cards' with Kevin Spacey or executive-producing Academy Award-nominated films like 'The Social Network' and 'Captain Philips,' Dana Brunetti is one of the most dynamic producers in Hollywood and has his finger on the pulse of the industry," said conference co-chair Ilan Haimoff, partner at Green Hasson Janks, Los Angeles.

"He'll likely discuss his innovative approach to producing film and television in today's market and what has made him a highly influential entrepreneur in his field."

The Entertainment Industry Conference is an annual gathering of leaders and experts who provide tax, financial planning, business management, legal, consulting and other advisory services to professionals in all segments of the Hollywood entertainment sector.

The conference is available both live and via webcast at a cost of $325 for members of the California Society of CPAs and $425 for nonmembers. The luncheon conversation with Brunetti will not be available for webcast participants, however.
